Digital Art is exploring the zeros and ones that make up art, sound, and video. Students use computers and software to design, record, capture and create movement.
From the Digital Studio to the Recording Studio to Online Programs students take on projects connected to the rest of the school. Students have recorded the process of making a theatre show, designed all of the school yearbooks, recorded music or commercials, put sound into movies, and completed photo shoots.
It about using all the available tools in the digital world to create relevant digital art. Experimenting is the key and taking a risk in creativity is encouraged.
Projects can range from the Yearbook, to Film, to Photography, to 2D Animation, to Audio Recording/Production to Digital Design. The content varies with school themes, opportunities and access to equipment/facilities. We work each year with school wide cross-curricular themes as well as student based yearbook production.
